About Me

Creating has always come naturally to me, and as I’ve gotten older I’ve found a love for encompassing it in everything I do. Painting and making something new are the best ways I’ve found to express myself and show my adoration for places I appreciate and people I love. Life is too short to waste it doing something you are not passionate about, and it’s my hopes that through sharing my passion you can find some of the same enjoyment and appreciation I have for the big, beautiful world every day.

What do I do?

I often joke with my friends that I’ve tried every career under the sun from operating rides at Disneyland to working in a veterinarian’s office. Just like my job history, I’ve also explored as many different art mediums as I can get my hands on. Some of my favorites are acrylic painting, watercolor painting, and marker illustrations.

Another favorite art form I’ve used to express my creativity is theatrical scenic design. Theatre is a wonderful way to express yourself in a community of like-minded people, and it has been such a great passion of mine since high school. Below I have included some of my original concept designs as well as the final set that I built.

Video Production

I’m not just a fan of traditional art; I also love to experiment with video editing and production. Most of my videos are short scenic clips from various vacations I’ve taken. I love exploring new places, and this is one of my favorite ways to share my experiences. If you’re in need of editing for a short video, please reach out via my contact me page.

Below are a couple of my favorite videos I’ve filmed and edited, but check out my Youtube Chanel for more: Youtube.com/thisisjulieful
